Alot of parents are totally negligent at public pools, and you need to be watching. I used to saw many of such families every week as I am employed with aquabot and have to visit many of the pools for related work. See even if a parent sees something doesn't mean they have the skills to recognize a potentially dangerous situation or sudden illness, much less deal with it.
