Last night’s Grammy Awards were understandably colored by the tragic death of our wonderful, Whitney Houston. Trent will continue to update us on this ongoing, and devastating, story. In the midst of all the darkness, as so many people pointed out on the red carpet and at the awards, there is still the need for lightness and color. What better way to celebrate color than by looking at who wore it best. Any award show is as much about celebrating talent as it is about praising fashion’s finest. Did you see what they wore and who looked the best?

One of the most talked about outfits of the night was without a doubt Nicki Minaj… she rocked up on the red carpet in a red hood in the style of Little Red Riding Hood or a red nun’s habit? She even completed the look walking down the red carpet with a pope?! It is not that surprising for eclectic and fashionably outrageous Nicki, but even for her this was a very interesting look. I love Nicki’s fun and fabulous take on fashion, but this for me is a little much. What did you think of this one, is it a winner or loser in the fashion stakes?

Michael Lohan has filed a job application with a Burger King in Palm Beach, Florida!

He was just recently released from a treatment facility he was at as part of his plea deal in his domestic violence case with his ex-gf, Kate Major.

So now that he's done his rehab, he's livin' large in a 3-bedroom suite at a halfway house.

Since he'll be living at the halfway house until he's released on March 16th, the workers there recommended he get a job to help pass the time.

Mainly, getting a job like that isn't to make money (or else he probably wouldn't have picked Burger King) it's really about slowly getting back into normal society.

Well we can only wish him the best and hope that this plan of action works for him.

Sometimes you just gotta do what the system tells you if you want back in society… you can't always "have it your way."

Earlier today, IMAX Corporation and Lionsgate announced that they'll be releasing The Hunger Games in IMAX format for one week only in North America, beginning Friday, March 23rd!

Here's what Lionsgate's Co-Chief Operating Officer Joe Drake had to say about it:

The Hunger Games and IMAX are a match made in heaven – fans love this book because its world is so vividly imagined and seeing the film in IMAX will make them feel as if they have landed right in the middle of the action. Teresa Giudice's husband Joe from Real Housewives of New Jersey made a risky move in court today that could find him behind bars for the next ten years. Joe decided to reject a plea deal offered in his fraud and impersonation trial and pled not guilty to the case against him.

If he had taken the deal, he would have only gotten five years in prison for the crime, half the sentence he is facing now if a guilty verdict is brought down on him.

Wow. He better have a real sound defense against these charges. Otherwise, those beautiful girls of his are going to grow up without him -- and that would be really sad.
